Esberi’s design projects involve target users in every aspect of the design process, and deliver profitable interactive applications that are a delight to the users.

All Esberi’s design projects follow a user-centric design (UCD) approach. It’s a well-renowned way of creating profitable interactive products and solutions, based on principles from design, psychology and software engineering. Our team produces intuitive interfaces that enable users to accomplish goals — ranging from enhanced social interactions to streamlined business processes.

UCD makes use of techniques like personas and scenarios, melding the best in human computer interaction and sensory design with the latest technologies.

With UCD, Esberi helps organisations achieve two key objectives:

  • Innovation:

Identifying the real needs of your target users, and coming up with working concepts for delivering solutions that are not only ahead of time but also profitable.

  • Optimisation:

Creating smart and slick applications that are usability-tested, to ensure that users have a good experience using it.

Esberi’s 5 stage UCD process

1. Research: Knowing about the people who are eventually going to use your application, and the context in which they’ll use. Using ethnographic techniques, end-user interviews and the discovery process we identify the problems, needs and perceptions of the end-user.

2. Concept: Examining the needs of your users and business, and coming up with innovative and workable solutions to address those needs. In this stage, the visual design team works on concepts for brand interpretation and communication.

3. Iterative design: Designing and usability-testing mock-ups of your product go through a series of iterative cycles. Different aspects of interaction design, information architecture, visual design and content are ironed out. The result of each cycle feeds into and refines the next, ensuring that the final user experience is simple, yet stunning and delightful.

4. Implementation: Unexpected technical constraints encountered by the development team call for quick changes in the interaction solutions which call for a robust architecture. Testing is performed, and a final usability test of the working application is done.

5. Launch: The solution roll-out is managed to ensure users experience a smooth transition from any existing legacy product. The application is measured for every interaction to gather feedback and metrics. Usability testing and ethnography techniques, along with web analytics are used to accomplish this.

Flexible & Agile

Esberi can provide any of these individual services to support your team, or deliver a complete UCD project. We bring the application to life gradually and iteratively, making sure that time and budget are focused on issues and areas that deliver the greatest results.

User-Centric Design works well with agile software development processes too. Both UCD and agile approaches advocate rapid iterative creation of prototypes and multi-disciplinary collaboration.

Esberi works out an agile & flexible design & development process, which involves you all time, in order to deliver what you expect.

Esberi has always emphasized on recorded actions. Do read the following white papers to understand more about our offerings and experience.
