About Client

Nissan, a global automobile manufacturer, continues its quest to optimize product development and deliver highly innovative technology. Today, in various countries and regions around the world, Nissan enjoy a stellar reputation for creating truly innovative vehicles and service programs.

Business Need & Challenges

Nissan, after been acquired by Renault, faced a challenge of process integration, the engineering team based in Japan and global marketing team based in France, made it difficult to share and collaborate to develop product specific collaterals and internal e-Learning courses. Also the challenge was to integrate other global teams within the system, and considering the fact that internal corporate IT policy didn’t favor Desktop application deployment.

Our Solution

After evaluating the use case closely with Nissan’s solution partner TAKOMA, Esberi was hired to architect, design, develop and handle global deployment, after 8 months of Test Driven Development, Esberi delivered a web based collaborative solution integrated with an ECM platform. The other features which were developed are handle translation mechanism, integrate workflow systems, handle data migration between various versions and application scalability.
